Oil Interceptor Installation, Upgrading & Maintenance
Oil-water interceptors and stormwater treatment systems capture and separate oil, fuel, sediment and other contaminants from runoff before it enters the downstream drainage system. Commonly used at commercial and industrial properties, these systems require routine inspection and maintenance to operate effectively.
You may need a larger sized oil interceptor if you're:
- Backing up with regular maintenance
- Frequently accumulating to capacity
- Seeing signs of carryover
- Changes in site conditions (increased volume)
Maintenance includes removing accumulated oil, grit and sediment, inspecting internal components and checking inlet and outlet connections for blockages or damage. Regular servicing helps maintain treatment capacity, support proper drainage and reduce the risk of downstream contamination.
